Are you asking, "where are the INI files?" They come with the program.
The MS-DOS Kermit diskette contains them, the MSVIBM.ZIP file (which is the
image of the diskette) contains them. For C-Kermit, it depends on the
OS -- UNIX, VMS, etc. Full instructions about how to obtain binaries,
source code, INI files, associated online documentation, and manuals, is on
our Web site:

:
It looks as if VMS is trying to send multiple files with the same name.
This normally should not happen, so I would need additional information
to tell you why it is happening in this case.
As you may know, VMS keeps multiple versions of the same file:
X.DAT;1, X.DAT;2, X.DAT;3, etc. But unless you instruct it otherwise,
VMS C-Kermit sends only the most recent (highest-numbered) version.
To get your problem solved, the best course is to collect a packet log
("log packets" makes a file called PACKET.LOG) and send it by email to
kermit-support@columbia.edu.
